Serving JBLM, WA
JBLM Wedding & Portrait Photographer
We photograph JBLM weddings, retirement ceremonies, promotion portraits, and family sessions for service members across every branch stationed at Lewis-McChord.
From chapel weddings on base to off-post receptions in DuPont, Lakewood, and Tacoma, we handle the timeline tight — uniforms, saber arches, formal portraits, and the candid moments in between.
We're familiar with base access, escort requirements, and the realities of military life: short engagements, deployment timelines, and PCS moves that turn a 12-month plan into a 6-week one.
Beyond weddings, we book promotion ceremonies, retirement portraits, homecoming sessions, and family photos before the next move. JBLM is part of our no-travel-fee zone.

JBLM Photography FAQ
- How much does a JBLM wedding photographer cost?
- JBLM wedding collections start at $2,800 for elopement and chapel coverage, with most full-day military weddings investing $4,500–$6,500. Every collection includes an engagement session and full high-resolution gallery.
- Do you have base access for JBLM weddings?
- We coordinate with your sponsor for day-of access and arrive early to clear the gate. We've shot on base many times and know the chapel scheduling, parking, and timeline process.
- Can you photograph a saber arch and traditional military ceremony?
- Yes — we know the choreography, where to stand for the saber arch, and how to capture the cake-cut tap without missing the smile or the salute.
- Do you offer short-notice or PCS portrait sessions?
- Always. Reach out as soon as you have orders and we'll do our best to fit you in before the move — promotion, retirement, homecoming, and family-before-PCS sessions are some of our most-booked.
- What are the best JBLM wedding venues on and off base?
- On base: the Main Chapel, Soldiers' Memorial Chapel, and McChord Field Club. Off base: nearby DuPont venues like The Home Course and Lakewood-area receptions for guests without base access.
- Do you charge a travel fee for JBLM weddings?
- No. JBLM is part of our core no-travel-fee service area along with DuPont, Lacey, Olympia, Tacoma, and Yelm.
- When should I book my JBLM wedding photographer?
- We recommend booking 6–12 months in advance, but we understand military timelines move fast — we keep a few short-notice slots open each month for PCS, leave-window, and pre-deployment weddings.
- Do you photograph promotion and retirement ceremonies?
- Yes — we book promotion ceremonies, retirement portraits, change-of-command coverage, and homecoming sessions throughout the year on JBLM and at off-post venues.
